The Gardens of Carmel Road South - Open Garden for NGS
The Carmel Road South Group comprise of 6 interesting and varied town gardens with some different and unusual plants, all have colour and interest. The smaller gardens are delightful, the two larger ones have views of the Tees and beyond. The largest garden is a colourful 1½ acres with a sunken garden and rockery and many shrubs. The garden offering refreshments at Dene Lodge is newly restored and is developing with colourful planters but also has wonderful views.
