Southill Park - Open Garden for NGS

Southill Park first opened its gates to NGS visitors in 1927 as one of the inaugural NGS gardens. This is a large garden with mature trees and flowering shrubs, herbaceous borders, a formal rose garden, sunken garden, ponds and kitchen garden. It is on the south side of the 1795 Palladian house. The parkland was designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. A large conservatory houses the tropical collection.
