Rothbury - Open Garden for NGS
Set on slopes of Malvern Hills, acre plant-lovers' garden surrounding Arts and Crafts house (not open), created by owners since 1999. Herbaceous borders, rockery, pond, small orchard. Siberian irises in May, roses in June and magnificent Eucryphia glutinosa in July. A series of hand-excavated terraces accessed by sloping paths and steps. Views and seats.
