Two Senegalese teenagers, Seydou and Moussa, leave Dakar to travel to Europe, where they believe opportunities await and Seydou’s dream of being a pop star can be realised. On a journey neither could have imagined, the boys face the dangers of the desert and the perils of the sea in an epic coming-of-age tale that offers a deeply human perspective on the migrant crisis.
