Caring for Ourselves, Caring for the World

A restorative weekend of mindfulness, self-compassion and nature connection, exploring how to stay open-hearted and care for others without losing yourself.

Is it possible to care for others without sacrificing your own needs?
How do you resource yourself to keep your heart open to the huge suffering in the world without burning out?

It can be so tricky balancing caring for others and caring for ourselves. Many of us know exactly how to give comfort, support and kindness to other people when they’re struggling, but can’t seem to access those qualities for ourselves.

This gentle, supportive weekend workshop will draw on the practices of mindfulness and self-compassion to help you take better care of yourself and avoid burnout and caregiving fatigue.

You’ll have the chance to connect with other kind-hearted people, take time for yourself in the beautiful surroundings of Brazier’s Park, and leave with a whole range of skills and techniques to draw on in everyday life.

About your Facilitator:

Sally is a mindfulness and self-compassion teacher on a mission to help people meet life’s joys and challenges with more presence and kindness. Since 2017, she has taught hundreds of people how to stress less and live more fully through courses, workshops, guided walks and retreats.

Sally is a self-professed ‘recovering people-pleaser’ with lived experience of personal and professional caring roles which she will draw on to bring this workshop to life.
