Meet talking rocks, find sunken trinkets and explore quarry portals at Signal Film and Media’s next exhibition, Psychogeology, opening at Barrow Market on Saturday the 4th of May. ‘Psychogeology’ is about people and geology. The exhibition shares work created from a co-authored project working with Manchester-based artist Jack Brown and our ‘Get Digital’ youth project participants, aged between 16-19 years old.
Through exploring underwater filming, using blue screens, making sculptures, hanging artworks down street grids, collecting rock samples on field trips, digging holes on the beach and learning first-hand from a professional artist, Signal Film and Media’s ‘Get Digital’ youth participants have created three new artworks to share with the community in Barrow-in-Furness as part of Signal’s Arts Council England funded programme.
