Alford Craft Market 50 Years Exhibition
Our 50 Years Exhibition of Alford Craft Market Memorabillia has opened at Alford Manor House. The Exhibition will run until the 25th of October 10am until 4pm each day that the Manor House is open (currently Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - more days per week from June).
There are giant numbers 1974 - 2024 with collages of photos, newspaper cuttings, and posters, a professional 4 minute video of interviews with our founder Michel Ducos, makers and customers, framed photos of particular historical happenings, and a commissioned Alford Craft Market knitted by the Knitting Nannas.
Knitted Morris Dancers, our 'Give What you Can Afford' banner with Money Churns, Banjo Bob, the Alford Craft Market Shop, Punch & Judy, an Alford Pottery Craft Market Stall, Robert Penny Farthing, Julian our caretaker, and a Bee Skep. Plus a knitted Alford Manor House! Thanks to the Knitting Nannas, The Wool Factory and most of all wool donations from the lovely people of Alford.
The Exhibition is on the 1st Floor - there is a lift if needed. We hope you can visit.
Free entry for people living in the LN13 postcode area - normal Manor House charges apply to other visitors.
