This is a fine five-storey windmill tower that was built about 1800, and although it lacks its sails it is full of interesting machinery for grinding the flour, hoisting the sacks and turning the sails to face the wind. There are a number of outbuilding too which were used for stabling, storage, baking, etc. And the mill has an intriguing histiry too. All this will be explained by knowlegeable guides. It's a rare chace to see into a part of the history of a Leicestershire village.
