Walk from Theddlethorpe to Rimac and back
A guided history walk: The Theddlethorpe History Club Walking Group will be meeting at 10am at Churchill Lane Car Park and Walking to Rimac and back on a circular walk. talking about the history of the area as we go. Will be going through the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve: through areas that have been the site of many shipwrecks, a First World War army training camp, a family holiday camp between the wars, guarded from invasion in the Second World War, used as an RAF bombing range, becoming a nature reserve in the 1950s and 60s. Everyone welcome to join us.
The Rimac section is wheelchair accessible, the rest could be a bit difficult for wheelchairs, but manageable for some if not too muddy!
