Newport Music Club presents Jim Wynn and his Quartet
The Jim Wynn Quartet will be performing well-known jazz standards from The Great American Songbook, with music from the likes of George Gershwin, Fats Waller, Richard Rodgers and Duke Ellington.
Jim grew up in Shropshire, before going on to study jazz at the Birmingham Conservatoire, where he graduated with a BMus (hons) degree in 2007. Since graduating, he has worked as a teacher, musician, composer, arranger and band leader.

Concert starts at 3.00 p.m.Tickets are £15 adult/£5 child, available from: ‘Bobby's Bistro’ in Newport and ‘Hey Jude’ music stall, Newport Indoor Market; or on the day (payment by cash or cheque only).
Bring your own chairs or rugs and picnics, but the bar will be open in the Hall selling drinks and cakes (or even ice cream!).
