Canal Art Demonstration with Fred Worthington

Heritage Open Day: Join expert sign writer and canal artist Fred Worthington at Beeforth’s Hive as he demonstrates the heritage craft of canal sign painting. In celebration of this years Heritage Open Days theme of Routes - Networks - Connections we are very pleased to welcome canal artist Fred Worthington at Beeforth’s Hive as he demonstrates the heritage craft of canal sign painting which originated on the canal networks of Britain. Fred will be on hand to explain the history of this fascinating tradition and answer visitor questions as he works.

This is a drop in event, no need to book in advance.
