If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me' then the answer is firmly yes!
The local Bishop's Stortford choir is run by singer/pianist Liam Priestnall. The Bishop's Stortford branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Bishop's Stortford community causes and events, all the local Hertfordshire choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the O2 Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, local flashmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
You've probably heard us singing in and around Hertfordshire, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Bishop's Stortford Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'My 12 year old daughter Abbii and I both sing in Rock Choir. It is great to do something together that we both really enjoy. We have sung at Disneyland Paris and Guilfest, and I have been on the Paul O'Grady Show. What an experience! ' - Judith (Rock Choir member)
