If you are wanting to join a choir you'll find a warm welcome with us in the Sevenoaks Rock Choir.
Your friendly local Sevenoaks choir is run by vocal coach Katherine Tye. We support a number of local good causes, raising money and awareness around Kent and as a choir we also join up with the other choirs near us to sing to support national charities such as Comic Relief, Missing People and Refuge with flash mobs, fundraising events and concerts.
You've probably heard us singing in and around Kent, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Sevenoaks Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Why I love Rock Choir: I've had lupus for over 16 years. I get to forget that once a week and I feel like I've achieved something in life now, as I've had to give everything else up because of it.' - Sheryl (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
