Started as a lawn at the front and back with 125 junipers and one rosebush. Now a varied acre. Bamboo fenced Asian species area with traditional outdoor wood fired Ofuro bath, herbaceous border, raised species rhododendron bed, vegetables, greenhouse, pond area and art studio and terrace.
