Steep, terraced, south facing, hillside garden in small, historic mill village, with glorious views over Monsal Dale. Formal side garden with Summerhouse, rose hedge and wisteria arch leads to surprise view over rockery, large, colourful herbaceous border and, further down, small herbaceous borders, two small ponds and wildlife area. Lower garden is accessed by steep steps with no handrail.
