Make a willow chicken workshop
Join me for a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful life-sized willow hen or cockerel to take home!
This session will guide you through willow weaving to bring your feathered friend to life.
As we all work at different speeds, my aim is to get you to the stage where you have created a sculpture that is recognizable and that you feel confident to carry on at home should you wish to do so.
The workshop is taking place in a cafe barn at the park if you have hearing details, you may find this a challenge as visitors will be accessing the cafe.
Please note that if you have a condition that affects your strength or mobility in your wrist/hands, this activity may cause difficulties for you.

What is included
All materials and tools, the bird will have metal legs to go in the ground if you prefer to keep it indoors, you will need to find a wooden base or something similar.
I also provide light refreshments
You will need to bring your own lunch or if you prefer treat yourself to a meal from the cafe.
