RiverLight Festival 2025

Festival Fringe Sat 14 - Fri 20 June 2025
Festival Finale Sat 21 June 2025

Winner of the Best Event/Festival in Destination Lincolnshire & Discover Rutland Tourism Excellence Awards 2024-25, RiverLight 2025 will be the fourth edition of this celebration of Sleaford’s rich culture and heritage.

The theme this year is Circles, Cycles and the Summer Solstice, taking inspiration from the area’s rural heritage, medieval water mills and local folklore.

Taking place from 14 - 21 June 2025, this free, family-friendly arts festival will fill outdoor spaces and venues across Sleaford with a vibrant programme of beautifully designed art installations, live dance and music performances, street theatre and circus pop-ups, hands-on craft workshops and a brilliant Festival Parade!

Many local people have taken part in artist-led workshops in schools and community spaces to co-create dance performances, costumes, songs, stories and artwork installations that will feature throughout RiverLight - bringing the themes to life.

RiverLight 2025 also runs in parallel with the NK Walking Festival, encouraging everyone to explore the town and countryside throughout the festival.

Lucy Lumb, Head of Partnerships & Communities at the Hub said: “This year we present some brand new community-led performances and art installations that celebrate the unique environment and history of Sleaford alongside specially selected professional acts. We can’t wait to see it all unfurl!”

Pick up a programme from 22 May at the Hub and Sleaford venues, or view online.
