The World of Gilbert and Sullivan
There will be a treat in store for G&S fans on Saturday 28 June when 'The Wandering Minstrels' present a Gala evening entitled THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN at St. Andrew's Church, Haconby, near Bourne in Lincolnshire at 7.00pm. The company will sing, act and dance their way through many of the Savoy Operas including 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'The Yeomen of the Guard',
'The Gondoliers', 'The Mikado', 'Ruddigore', 'Princess Ida', 'Utopia, Limited', 'HMS Pinafore' and 'Iolanthe'. Artistes appearing in this concert are Alexandra Ferrari, Emma Stratton, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. Don't miss two hours of Savoy favourites, combining the biting wit of W.S.Gilbert and the enchanting music of Sir Arthur Sullivan, beautifully sung and presented in period costume. It promises to be a delightful evening!
