The Loughborough Orchestra is honoured to present the versatile cello soloist Danushka Edirisinghe, a local talent from Loughborough who has performed across the world. Danushka is a multi-award-winning postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music who has performed with the London Mozart Players, the Britten Sinfonia, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, and Royal Northern Sinfonia. These performances together with appearances at the Lucerne Festival, Aldeburgh Festival, and BBC Proms, have showcased his exceptional skill and artistry.
