Back by pup-ular demand, Doggie Day returns to Whiteley this Saturday (31st May), with the free event promising a fun-filled day for dogs, their owners, and anyone looking for a great day out.
From high-spirited agility runs to fun competitions, there’s plenty for pooches to get involved in at the event which will run from 11:00am-4:00pm. Categories like best dressed, fastest and cutest are open to dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities – whether they’re seasoned pros or just in it for the treats.
Visitors can sniff out stalls across the centre, including premium dog treats from Paws Box, expert tips given from dog behaviour and training specialists, and stylish dog accessories from Hampshire business Lola & Toff. Plus, Soozi the Dog Caricaturist will be on hand once again to sketch a charming likeness of your furry friend, all in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
For those looking to take home a keepsake, there will be complimentary Whiteley dog frisbees, as well as the chance to win prizes in a charity tombola supported by Guide Dogs and Solent Hotel. The Body Shop, too, will be giving away goodie bags in-store worth £24 with any purchase should they visit with their dogs and show their free ticket. And when it’s time to paws and refresh, pups can enjoy a free Puppaccino from Starbucks, while their humans can pick up a delicious brew from the visiting My Little Coffee Co van.
