Walk: Theddlethorpe's Old Windmills

Theddlethorpe History Club Walking Group:

Meeting at 10am at Theddlethorpe Village Hall for a guided walk around the local area, learning about its hidden history as we go.

This week the topic is the old windmills that used to be in the village, for many years used to grind corn and pump water. There was a windmill for making flour near the Kings Head that became disused in 1928, and a pumping windmill to drain water from the old claypits on Brickyard Lane. Now all demolished.
Join in this fascinating walk to learn more about our local heritage of harnessing wind power.

Free, everyone welcome to come along and join in a fascination heritage walk with our small friendly group.
