Saltfleetby Scarecrow Festival

Saltfleetby Scarecrow Festival 2025
Homemade scarecrows can be seen around the village NOW. The Prize-giving FUN-DAY will be on Saturday 6th September at Marshlands Community Centre.

Prizes will be given for best scarecrows made by under 16-year-olds and over 16s, as well as for the Funniest Scarecrow, Most Original, and Best Overall. There will be a photo display of all the entries in the hall, and a map of where to find them can be seen on the Scarecrow Festival Website, as well as photos of all the previous years’ scarecrows.

Lots of Fun and Entertainment, including: Craft Stalls, Children's Games, Lucky Dip, Produce Show, Classic Cars, Raffle, Biggest Sunflower Competition, Bar and Refreshments.

Live music will be provided by the Fantastic duo “Three-Steps To-Heaven”, performing all your classic Rock and Roll Favourites from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

There are a lot of excellent prizes and vouchers to be won in the Raffle, including:
A cream tea for 2 at Mable’s Tea Room in Mablethorpe.
2 x takeaway Sunday dinners from Travelers Joy in North Somercotes
A £20 voucher for Four Ways Takeaway Shop, North Somercotes
2 x Sunday dinners at The Axe & Cleaver, North Somercotes
2 x Fish, chips and side from Joe’s Plaice in Saltfleet
2 x Breakfasts from The Little Village Tea Shop in Saltfleetby
£25 off food at The Prussian Queen, Saltfleetby
2 x £150 photo shoot from Phillip Anthony Photography
And many other prices that have been donated by local residents, and Tesco Mablethorpe.
