Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'
The local Llay, Wrexham choir is run by singing teacher Rebecca Broadbere. The Llay, Wrexham branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Llay, Wrexham community causes and events, all the local choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the 10,000 seat Wembley Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, radio appearances and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there's a place for you in the Llay, Wrexham Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Llay, Wrexham choir members recommend their friends!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Since joining the Rock Choir, not only have I made some amazing new friends but I’ve found that my weekly singing sessions on a Monday evening start the week on a positive note and any tensions that may have occurred on a Monday morning disappear! - it’s a great mood reviver and I love the challenge of attempting to hit those high notes!' - Lynn (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
