Join us for the popular Elsdon Fete on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2025, 12 – 4pm.
Elsdon Fete is a traditional fun day out in the prettiest village in Northumberland National Park, on the historic village green. Entry is free and plenty of parking is provided.
There's something for everyone - a fun dog show, Ellington Colliery Band on the village green, vintage tractors, Mr Twister childrens’ entertainer, free face painting, treasure trail, book sale in the historic church, local crafts, great burgers, grand raffle, tea & homemade cakes in the village hall, the Time Bandits' Bringing History to Life and opportunities to show your skills at traditional sports such as the coconut shy and archery.
The Fete, which originally dates back to a Royal Charter granted in 1281, showcases the history and traditions of this beautiful rural area. It takes place on Elsdon’s village green, just off the A696 near Otterburn, on the Rothbury road (satnav NE19 1AA).
All proceeds go to community projects.
