Nottingham Catholic Cathedral

Heritage Open Day: The cathedral, a masterpiece of the Gothic revival, designed by the celebrated architect, A.W.N. Pugin in the Early English style and built in the early 1840s, will be open daily. On selected days there will also be guided tours, and short talks. The cathedral will be open during its normal hours (0700-1900), subject to cathedral services and special events such as weddings and funerals. Leaflets will be available for those who wish to go round by themselves. On selected days (listed below) there will be guided tours and family workshops.

There will also be a short talk presenting the cathedral’s art and architecture, and in particular Restoring Pugin, the cathedral's ongoing project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
