Heritage Open Day: Set in a beautiful and unique post-war Church, enjoy displays of photographs, maps, models and displays; with activities for all ages. St Paul is a most unusual church. It sits in the heart of a maze of residential streets in the centre of Hellesdon. The frontage is an elegant seven-edged red brick semicircle, but it is only when you go behind this that you see the facade has been added to a dark green corrugated iron Nissen hut. This provides a distinctive setting for this year's Heritage Open Day.
Hellesdon has a fantastic range of buildings, from the Medieval Church on the Low Road, to the Italianate Hellesdon Hall. The Victorian Hospital, the 1930s Bull Pub, and the 70s Community Centre all tell unique stories.
