The Vicarage, Broom Avenue, Hellesdon, Norwich NR6 6LG Heritage Open Day: Set in a beautiful and unique post-war Church, enjoy displays of photographs, maps, models and displays; with activities for all ages. St Paul is a most unusual church. It sits in the heart of a maze of residential streets in the centre of Hellesdon. The frontage is an elegant seven-edged red brick semicircle, but it is only when you go behind this that you see the facade has been added to a dark green corrugated iron Nissen hut. This provides a distinctive setting for this year's Heritage Open Day. Hellesdon has a fantastic range of buildings, from the Medieval Church on the Low Road, to the Italianate Hellesdon Hall.
