Black Ivory Tales of Northampton Walking Tour
Heritage Open Day: A one-hour guided heritage walk of Northampton's town centre exploring past and present buildings and landmarks through the lens of the intersections of the English legacy of the town and the lived experiences of ethnic minority communities. This guided heritage walking tour features the links between the various ethnic groups in creating the townscape of Northamptonshire by linking past and present buildings, landscape, and cultural artefacts in a curated narrative of the town centre. This memorable heritage walk features the hidden and undiscovered histories of black and ethnic minoritised groups and highlights the shared lived experiences of local communities.
