Lamport Hall - Brewer's Yard Alive

Heritage Open Day: Explore the architecture of the old service buildings at Lamport Hall including the dairy and laundry rooms. Take part in hands-on demos and activities, bringing the buildings back to life with their original uses. Brewer's Yard will, for the first time, be returned to its original use with costumed guides demonstrating the kinds of jobs and tasks which would have been undertaken in the service yard during the Victorian period. Explore the laundry rooms, dairy and other buildings as they are brought back to life for one day only!

The gardens will also be open to explore with interpretation relating to the architecture of the building. There will be garden history tours as well as traditional craft demonstrations and a large exhibition of art from local artists.

The café and gift shop will be open throughout the event.
