Biddulph Grange Garden open gates

Heritage Open Day: Walk in the footsteps of James and Maria Bateman, creators of Biddulph Grange Garden. Enter either from the National Trust entrance, Bateman walk behind the adjacent St Lawrence church or mile walk from the adjacent country park. Enjoy Biddulph Grange Garden as it's Victorian owners James and Maria Bateman would have done. Take in the Bateman Walk from the adjacent churchyard or the mile / obelisk walk into or from the adjacent Biddulph Grange Country Park.
Discover Britain's largest stone garden urn, the Geological Gallery (the only one of its kind in the world), Britain's oldest stumpery and the centrepiece Chinese garden.
