Changing Tracks: An exhibition on the history of Poynton's stations

Heritage Open Day: Did you know that Poynton has had three stations? Two are now lost to time, so what a perfect opportunity - in the 200th anniversary year of the British Railway - to highlight the railway history of our town. Working with Poynton’s Stationmaster of thirty years, Glyn Derbyshire, Poynton Town Council presents an exhibition of items collected and created over the years - with Glyn himself in attendance to answer your questions.

Learn about Poynton’s three stations - Midway, Poynton and Higher Poynton, take a close look at scale models of each one, read Glyn’s own accounts of station life and browse countless photos and facts about the Town’s railway history.
