Heritage Open Day: This is an unusual clock tower as it is not part of a church. The bells ring to celebrate civic events such as the annual Mayor-Making. Built-in the early 1600s and containing the oldest original peal of civic bells in Britain, the Clock Tower is one of Morpeth's landmarks.
