Heritage Open Day: Drop in and visit St. Helen's Church. Guided tours of the building will be held every hour from 10am-4pm. St Helen’s Parish Church is the oldest and most beautiful building in Northwich. This Grade 1 listed building dates from c.1350 with significant enlargement carried out between 1480 and 1520. The early 16th century ceiling is spectacular and there are wonderful 19th century stained glass windows by Charles Eamer Kemp. Tours of the building explaining its history and significance will be given by a knowledgeable retired architect.
