St Peter's Highfields Fun Day
Heritage Open Day: A fun day for all the family with games and activities. Organised Board games and dominoes (1.30-3.30pm)
A chance to view St Peter's Church and hear a piano recital (11am) The stunning church of St Peter's was built before most of the houses in Highfields, and tells the story of Highfields from its glory days to a working class area and more recently to an area of proud diversity. Designed by G E Street, and built in memory of local philanthropist, Earl Howe, St Peter's proclaims the greatness of God. The church will be open throughout the day.
