From Sewage Works to Nature Reserve: the Shire Brook Valley transformed

Heritage Open Day: Established as a nature reserve in 1995, this year is Shire Brook Valley’s 30th anniversary. Explore an exhibition showcasing the rich heritage and abundant nature. Get involved in creative activities inspired by the Art Deco style visitor centre. Established as a nature reserve in 1995, this year is Shire Brook Valley’s 30th anniversary.

An outdoor exhibition will celebrate the 30 years since Shire Brook Valley became a nature reserve. Visitors will be encouraged to walk through the valley to explore the exhibition which will showcase the rich heritage and abundant nature that can be found on site.

Creative activities will be available for all ages to explore the theme of architecture using the Art Deco style visitor centre as a stimulus.
