Canons Ashby

Heritage Open Day: Visit Canons Ashby to enjoy the beautiful gardens, the historic house, and the medieval church. Enjoy live music from the clarinet ensemble, Liquorice Allsorts on Saturday and an activity for children on Sunday. Canons Ashby is a fascinating puzzle of a building, made in several different stages and styles, surrounded by a terraced garden which will be full of colourful dahlias in early September. If you want a longer stroll, stride out into the parkland, or cross the road to see the Priory church where the medieval canons used to live and worship.

We will be welcoming the wonderful Liquorice Allsorts' clarinet ensemble for both indoor and outdoor performances on Saturday (weather depending).
