Enjoy live music from the clarinet ensemble, Liquorice Allsorts on Saturday and an activity for children on Sunday. Canons Ashby is a fascinating puzzle of a building, made in several different stages and styles, surrounded by a terraced garden which will be full of colourful dahlias in early September. If you want a longer stroll, stride out into the parkland, or cross the road to see the Priory church where the medieval canons used to live and worship.
