Heritage Open Day: Explore a former Tudor powerhouse turned 17th-century family home, set in gardens, woodlands and wetlands. Visit the shop selling locally sourced goods and the cosy Brewhouse tea-room serving light refreshments and beverages. Explore a nationally recognised 'Discovery House’, including pre-Reformation chapel with stained-glass windows, Oak Gallery and tapestry room. During your visit to the house, you can get up close to first editions of Austen's books, feast your eyes on beautiful Regency costume worn by members of the family, and learn more about Jane Austen, her family connections to The Vyne, and what Regency life and love was like for those living here.
