Heritage Open Day: FREE Curator’s talks on our special exhibition 'Sampled Styles' and FREE entry to the Quaker Tapestry Museum. Quaker Tapestry Museum Curator will give an informative talk on 'Sampled Styles', our first major exhibition focusing on Quaker embroidery samplers, exploring the evolution of styles, regional and institutional variations, examining what these works can tell us about the lives of Quaker women and girls. At the award winning Quaker Tapestry Museum (Small Visitor Attraction of the Year 2025) you will discover the Quakers’ origins and their impact on society over the last 350 years. From scientific and industrial revolutions to social reform, peace and the abolition of slavery.
