St Michael’s Church with live music
Heritage Open Day: Southampton’s annual multi venue musical festival MUSIC IN THE CITY this year takes places as part of HERITAGE OPEN DAYS. We have over 100 live performances taking place in heritage sites in the old town of Southampton on the weekend uniting heritage with performance. St. Michael the Archangel Church is the oldest building still in use in the city dating from 1070. It is the only church still active of the five originally in the medieval walled town, it is now Grade I Listed.
