Quilter’s Vault with live music
Heritage Open Day: An inclusive celebration of music of all genres amidst the vibrant cultural heritage of Southampton. Culminating in an annual multi-venue music festival on 13/14th September. We exist for the musicians and the people of Southampton. Quilter's vault opens on to the High St and is named after Eliza Quilter who owned the ancient
vault, and the Royal George Hotel above it, in the late 1800s. Excavations have revealed that the
vault dates back to the 1270s, making Quilter’s vault a timeless preservation of Southampton’s flourishing wine trade.
