Flour Milling at Heatherslaw Corn Mill

Heritage Open Day: Come and see the historic waterwheel and other 19th century machinery working today just as it did then! Heatherslaw Corn Mill produces a small range of all-natural flours using cold stoneground milling via our large French millstones. You can come and see how this simple process is still operational and even preferable to some modern processes, retaining better nutritional properties of the grains. Our museum displays will also be open for free so that visitors can explore tools, architecture and weights and measures from the past.
