Heritage Open Day: Come and see the rich history & heritage of the former Gedling railway station/Youth Club now named Gedling Youth & Community Hub.
See the plans for the regeneration of the building. Lots of railway and mining memorabillia on display. Come and see the rich history & heritage of the former Gedling railway station. On display will be lots of local mining and railway memorabilia and printed plans of the restoration of the station.
Recently we were awarded a NLHeritadge Fund Grant of £173,286 together with a Grant of £75,000 from Gedling Boro Community Fund. Total funding raised £248,286. This means the restoration of the former railway station can now commence. Visit www.gedlingyouth.co.uk for further details.
