Heritage Open Day: Discover the history of nail making in Hoylandswaine at the last working nail forge and the only nail forge in Britain with its original hearth and chimney. Making nails by hand was a major industry in Hoylandswaine and the surrounding area. The Nail Forge was the last working nail forge and is the only nail forge in Britain with its original hearth and chimney. The hearth and bellows have been restored for us, opening in 2025
