Heritage Open Day: Tickton's Methodist Church was built in 1879 and was refurbished in 1999. The stained glass window celebrates Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee in 2012 and was designed by a pupil from Tickton Primary School. The present Chapel was built in 1879 but it was refurbished in1999 and extended to include a new kitchen and accessible toilet facilities. The establishment of a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) with the Anglican community in 1994 enables the congregation to participate in a wide and varied worship pattern and services are held in both the Chapel and St Paul's church. There is a thriving “Youth Kaf†held in the Chapel once a month for pupils from years 5 and 6 who attend the village school.
The Church's Autumn Fair will take place on Saturday 13 September and all visitors are welcome.
