Heritage Open Day: St. Giles Church is a beautiful grade II listed building designed by W.D. Griffin consecrated in 1867, although there has been a church on the site for approximately 700years. The building is a treasure trove of Victorian Ecclesiastical architecture. Visitors are welcome to view the building at their leisure between 10:15 - 12:30.
There will be a guided tour starting at 10:30 in the church and visitors can learn more about the history of the building, some of the artefacts and the Historical figures associated with the parish.
Old photographs and drawings will be viewable in digital format.
