Heritage Open Day: A short video about the medieval wall paintings will be shown every half hour. Guided tours of the paintings and other heritage in the church available as required.

Special guide materials for the visually impaired are available. St Mary's Church contains an internationally important scheme of medieval wall paintings in the chancel, dating from c.1320CE.
There are also counter-Reformation paintings and fragments of post Reformation paintings, as well as other heritage items, including graffiti. Written guides, a fully illustrated guide book and related information leaflets are available. There will be a short video providing an introduction to the paintings which will be shown every half hour.
