Long Street Methodist Church and School

Heritage Open Day: One of Middleton's 'Golden Cluster' of historic buildings, this Arts and Crafts inspired church and former schoolrooms is a masterpiece designed by Edgar Wood (1860-1935) Long Street Methodist Church and Schools were built in 1899. It is an outstanding Grade II* listed building incorporating Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and modern stylistic elements into a magnificent whole.
