Can we build it?

Heritage Open Day: Bring our Millennium Tapestry to life by choosing a building and making a 3D model of it. The Knutsford Millennium Tapestry is the outstanding exhibit of the Heritage Centre, capturing life in Knutsford in the year 2000. The 40ft long tapestry contains 6,500,000 stitches across three panels named Tatton, Canute and Toft. It is truly an amazing piece of art which features a vast range of buildings and scenes and contains a number of 'easter eggs' - hidden stories and scenes.
Visitors can spend time viewing the tapestry and the choose a building or use their own ideas and make a 3D model from paper, cardboard or Lego. Ideal for all the family. Non-Lego models can be taken home or joined with other buildings to make a mini-Knutsford display.
