Our Lady and the Apostles RC Church
Heritage Open Day: You are warmly invited to visit the beautiful grade-II-listed Our Lady and the Apostles Church. The interior is beautiful, light and airy; featuring granite pillars, Arts and Crafts wooden fret work and a Margaret Rope window. A landmark in Stockport, the current building was erected in 1905 in the Gothic Revival style. The parish has been in existence for over 200 years, serving as a base for the Catholic faith in Stockport. Be guided or self-guided around the light and airy space, taking in the stained glass and wooden fretwork. Displays: The history of the parish and Our Lady’s School. Light refreshments served. Children's activities.
